I have been furiously sawing through the ice and throwing chunks into my driveway. It is sunny and above freezing, so they melt and evaporate. Everyone knows that smaller pieces of ice will melt before a large piece-so why do the drivers passing by look at me like I'm a moron?
Can THEY park two cars side by side in their driveway? (Without using a snow blower).
I get a weird OCD satisfaction out of doing this. I have to pace myself and not throw out too much ice or it won't all melt by the end of the day. And my right thumb and wrist hurt, as do most of my upper body muscles. But it feels goooooood.
