Can I start out by saying how proud I am to come from a state that voted Fried Butter as the best treat at the State Fair? I'm serious, Texas is so cool.

Max came off the bus with a huge smile and said that his teacher was the nicest teacher ever. Also, he was almost the last one off the bus, there are so many kindergarteners (who sit up front), so now he feels like a big kid!


Back to school night is only for parents. Larry was going to work late AND Max has soccer practice that night. Not sure how I will handle that one.

Leftovers for dinner for the next several nights, I'm sure.
