red costume regret?

My red/black costume arrived in Australia yesterday and the new owner is thrilled. I am happy for her, but I feel a bit of regret. I don't know why, since the costume did not suit me. It was so easy to wear and travel with, and it was MINE. But I didn't need it and I don't see when I would have ever worn it again; why am I sad?
